About the Project

The project limits begin at Shangri-La Road and continue north to the intersection of St. Patrick Lane, approximately 1.5 miles. This project’s goal is to create safer roadway conditions for bicyclists and pedestrians as well as improve multimodal connectivity within Bonita Springs.

Project improvements may include but are not limited to:

  • Pavement improvements
  • Multi-modal improvements
  • Speed management improvements
  • Lighting improvements
  • Intersection improvements at Shangri-La Road and Paradise Road
  • Miscellaneous drainage improvements
  • Landscaping improvements

 

Public Involvement

The City of Bonita Springs invites you to an open house public meeting for the Paradise Road Bike/Pedestrian Improvements Project. The public meeting will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 to share information and gather input on proposed improvements. The meeting will take place at City Hall, City Council Chambers, 9101 Bonita Beach Road SE, Bonita Springs, FL 34135, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
