SchoolIn December 2017, the City entered into an agreement with the Sky Family YMCA, now known as the YMCA of Southwest Florida, with the same terms and conditions as with the previous program administrator, Sports Club, Inc., for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year and for the summer camp program for 2018. Council approved the continuation of this partnership agreement for the 2021-2022 school years as well as for the 2022 Summer Camp programs following all CDC guidelines for children’s summer camp operations. The YMCA of Southwest Florida would like to continue this partnership for the 2022-2023 school year as well as for the 2023 summer camp program to serve the children and families of the Bonita Springs community. Due to inflation increases, the YMCA of Southwest Florida has requested an increase in fees for both the Afterschool and Summer camp programs. The Afterschool program fees will increase from $50 per week per participant to $55 per week per participant, and the full-day afterschool program will increase from $15 per day per participant to $25 per day per participant. Additionally, the Summer Camp program will increase from $100 per week per participant to $120 per week per participant.
