Traffic Shift Scheduled for East Terry Street Tuesday, October 6, 2026
On Tuesday, October 6, at 7 p.m. the City’s contractor, Quality Enterprises USA, Inc., will implement a traffic shift along the East Terry Street travel lanes from Imperial Parkway east to I-75. The roadway will shift to the south side to prepare for upcoming stormwater, water and wastewater improvements on the north side of the right-of-way.
The lane shift will take place overnight to minimize traffic delays. During this time, crews will place barrels and restripe the roadway and flaggers will be present to help direct traffic. During the traffic shift, the road will remain open to through traffic. There will be directional signage along Imperial Parkway and East Terry Street to assist drivers through the area. Work is expected to be completed early Wednesday morning October 7, before the morning peak travel hours.
Following the completion of the lane shift, traffic will resume travel as before using the new traffic shift. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, watch for workers, and follow roadway signs.
