Bonita Springs Segment: Includes 5.8 miles of inactive rail corridor located within the city limits.

Current Status: Following the second reading on April 15, the City Council has officially placed the land acquisition funding on the 2026 primary ballot.

Acquisition Cost: The city’s portion of the land acquisition is valued at $28.6 million.

Funding Mechanism: Project progression is contingent upon a voter-approved bond referendum on the August 2026 ballot.
