As a long time small business owner, Peter understands the realities of creating jobs, achieving financial goals, raising capital, financial management, and working successfully with others to make a project come together. Peter has raised millions of dollars for numerous political and non-profit causes since the turn of the century.

Peter is a Financial Representative with Coastal Wealth in Ft. Myers, with nine additional offices throughout the state of Florida in Boca Raton, Clearwater, Coral Gables, Ft. Lauderdale, Plantation, Port Richey, Sarasota, Stuart and Tampa. Peter was honored to be elected to the Bonita Springs City Council in 2012, as Mayor in 2016, and has been an outspoken fiscal conservative for all citizens.

Peter serves on the Board of Directors with the Florida League of Mayors, and is a member of the United States Conference of Mayors.

Peter serves as the city council liaison to the Historic Preservation Board, Bonita Springs Outreach Committee, Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Collier County Liaison, Florida League of Cities and the Metropolitan Planning Organization “Southwest Florida League of Cities.

He has appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, FOX, CNN, CNBC and has been quoted in the New York Times, and Miami Herald providing on the ground coverage of Hurricane Irma. He was a Division 1 athlete on the University of New Hampshire crew team in college, is an “honorary deputy” with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and is a member of the Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Bonita Springs Historical Society.

Peter and his wife SueZahn are the proud parents of two children, Elizabeth and Peter, along with their dog Winston. He has traveled to Southwest Florida since the 1970’s and numerous family members also call this beautiful region of the country home.

He enjoys spending time with his family, boating, fishing, jogging, biking, attending his daughter’s cheerleading events, and attending his son’s football games.
